Small groups have proven effective in fostering growth in faith and discipleship with young people and adults. When the UCA National Christian Youth Convention (NCYC) was hosted in South Australia in 2005, the synod produced a video series and booklet called “Xtreme Community” to help leaders start small groups with youth and young adults in their home church.
The videos feature Matt Sarre, who was Small Groups Pastor at Aberfoyle Uniting Church in Adelaide (now called Seeds). The clips are hosted by Karen Hunt and were produced by Craig Mitchell.
The 5 short videos are now available online here.
The videos are designed to be used as part of a series of small group sessions, designed by Bruce Mullan.
The small group sessions can be downloaded here (5mb PDF).
