“How do we form disciples in and for the mission of God?” The Assembly is hosting a national Colloquium in Melbourne in November to explore this question. The aim is to explore the formation and education of disciples of Jesus Christ in the context of contemporary mission. Twenty-five presentations will cover a range of theological, educational, cultural and missional questions.
The Colloquium will be held on Wednesday 18 November, 3.00-9.30pm at the Korean Church of Melbourne, Malvern.
Presenters include Rev Dr Jenny Byrnes, Dr Val Webb, Rev Dr Ji Zhang, Rev Dr Amelia Koh-Butler, Rev Dr Paul Goh and Rev Dr Ian Robinson.
The keynote speaker for the event is noted educator Dr Deidre Palmer, Moderator of the Uniting Church in SA and President-Elect of the UCA.
