Here are some more details about our forthcoming presbytery learning programs that I mentioned in my previous posts.
Spirited Generosity Seminars
Four online seminars on financial giving and developing a budget for mission
Financial giving and church budgets have been challenged in recent weeks. How can we move beyond just coping to a healthier financial future for churches? Four online Zoom seminars will be based on the Spirited Generosity resource from Mediacom. We’ll explore what inspires generosity, reframing budgets around mission, encouraging more avenues for giving, and positive ways to communicate about both money and mission.

But wait, there’s more…Blended Faith Formation
How have we learned to be church differently during lockdown? Will we continue to learn some ways to offer ways for people to explore faith beyond the gathered congregation? Is it only about online worship? How do we build on the connections we make? What are your thoughts and future hopes? Craig Mitchell is starting a conversation on our Presbytery Facebook page. Come and join in if you’re interested.
Ministry with Children, Youth & Families in Lockdown
Here’s the video that we hosted with a number of ministry workers sharing what they’re doing and learning. I need to work on my hosting!
Sacraments in the Uniting Church

Sacraments in the Uniting Church is an invitation to explore the meaning of baptism and communion, and discuss what God offers us as we participate in them.
